The “electrification of everything” has increased the demand for electricity faster than experts predicted. Data centers already account for more than 4% of electrical power demand in the U.S., and more are being built every day. EV sales are at an all-time high. Smart homes are becoming the norm. Utilities need to improve grid efficiencies, allocate resources effectively, and make smart investments in infrastructure to meet the growing demand.
