Full control via one single user interface
In the smart home, the ABB-free@home® system can be integrated with Samsung’s SmartThings platform, taking high-tech living to a whole new level with seamless connection managed through one single user interface. The easy-to-use platform allows you to set up automation to take care of your daily chores while saving energy and costs at the same time. Everyday convenience is at the heart of the integrated system - for example, by turning on pre-settings such as ‘wake-up mode’, curtains are automatically opened, and lights are switched on in the morning.
With the fully connected home, you can centrally control a wide range of smart home functions such as lighting and blind control, as well as EV charging, energy management, home appliances, and entertainment combined in a single app or a touch panel on the wall. This offers more convenience, while simultaneously enabling you to save time and energy through your customized smart scenes and automation settings.
The first joined pilot project: Brobyholm, Sweden
With a common vision in mind, S. Property partnered with OBOS, ABB, SAMSUNG, cleanwatts, and SMA to build one of the smartest residential communities in the world near Stockholm, called Brobyholm.
Technologies coming together seamlessly
Building energy-smart communities is only possible through partnerships and interoperable systems. Net-zero communities rely on renewable energy like photovoltaic (PV) systems, which are spread throughout the development and integrated with storage capabilities. These PV systems create a community grid with virtual energy-sharing capabilities, promoting energy self-sufficiency and lower bills.
