Assesment criteria:
- A building or home user guide is developed
- A training schedule is prepared for building occupiers
- The design intent of the building is clarified
- The available aftercare team is detailed
- Introduction to, and demonstration of, installed systems
- Introduction to the building user guide
- Maintenance requirements, including any maintenance contracts and regimes in place

MAN5 – Aftercare – max 3 credits AIM: To provide post-handover aftercare to the building owner or occupants during the first year of occupation to ensure the building operates and adapts to users needs
Assessment criteria:
Aftercare support
- There is operational infrastructure and resources in place to provide aftercare support to the building occupiers
- Monitoring of energy and water consumption data for a minimum of 12 months
- Innovation credit = Monitoring of energy and water for 36 months
Post-occupancy evaluation (POE):
- A review of the design intent and construction process
- Feedback including Internal environmental conditions (light, noise, temperature, air quality), maintenance, Facilities and amenities, Access…
- Energy consumption, water consumption, materials, renewable energy, rainwater harvesting etc.
