The Challenge
As part of UK based Park Holidays strategic programme of expansion, the company wanted to increase its sustainability and operational efficiency, including optimizing energy consumption and efficiency. The maintenance team also needed more power on site and Group personnel needed to access real time data on the park’s energy consumption, and other parameters.
The installation of a new Low Voltage (LV) distribution board at Park Holiday’s Carlton Meres resort on the Suffolk coast provided an opportunity for the company to reassess its requirements and introduce a more digitally connected approach to energy management.
The Objectives
- Embed energy optimization across accommodation, catering, sports and entertainment facilities across the holiday park site as part of the business’ strategic expansion
- Introduce a more digitally connected approach to energy management
- Enable remote monitoring and real time data access
